Tomorrow is officially turkey day, and friends and family are gearing up to celebrate what they are thankful for. This time of year also marks something else besides Thanksgiving and the upcoming holidays. It is shopping season, with Black Friday just around the corner, as well as the rest of the gift-giving season in full effect.
By this time next week, the turkey will have been carved. The pie will have been enjoyed (the first slice at least), and the coupons will have been collected. Black Friday is next week, and Oklahoma shoppers are no different from other bargain shoppers across the country. They will line up bright and early to get a good deal on electronics and other holiday gifts.
Men and women share in the duties of all kinds of industries. From leading court cases as lawyers to rebuilding roads as construction workers, basically no job is out of someone's reach is he or she wants it. The fact that there is equal opportunity, however, doesn't mean that men and women face the same challenges in the workplace.
